Although it was a quiet cold Wednesday night downtown, atop the W Hotel’s at Beach Bar there was a heat of energy radiating for the crowds in attendance, as it was host to AM 1360 KLSD’s listener party.
San Diegans from progressive politics congregated and mingled with the host of the Stacy Taylor Show, San Diego’s number one Independent Talk station.
The older patrons conversed with the younger ones while delicious cocktails were served the entire night. Free beverages at the bar had everyone in attendance enjoying their time shooting the breeze with like-minded people.
But don’t get me wrong; I wouldn’t consider this a wild Wednesday night bash. Lounge music played throughout as I over-heard conversations about President Bush being a miserable failure.
The Beach Bar full of lefty liberals was fun for about the first forty-five minutes and then the excitement grew thin, which signaled the right time for me to leave as I left unnoticed.
