If you ever want to see a phenomenal DJ tag team show, The G-Roy and Theron Show under the roof of a San Diego hot spot where you’ll only find the hottest crowds, then make your presence known at Confidential.
With Fortune Industries premiere deejays, DJ G-Roy and DJ Theron ripping up the turntables while Las Vegas style bartenders put on a sideshow for you as they toss expensive bottle in the air, Confidential takes the trophy as the place to be at on Thursday nights.
Let the word be known that this place has high class and opulence written all over it. With the huge white curtains that match the white booths and chairs, from food and drinks to people and music, expect nothing below average here.
When you see the bartenders showing off as they make your favorite cocktail show some appreciation with gracious baksheesh. These guys aren’t perfect though… and mistakes do happen. When they do try not to laugh too hard. There is nothing is funny about a broken Grey Goose bottle on the ground…expensive bottle, cheap laugh.
Get here early because this place fills up fast…and there is no point in hassling the doorman to get you in sooner when ANY club/lounge is at capacity. Just chill and wait your turn to enter what many already have experienced.
Just keep that between you and I…only at Confidential.

Daammnn! That’s what you hear from all the guys when they see San Diego’s finest women walk through the tall white doors leading inside Confidential.
This night was definitely crackin’ off with a definite A-list crowd ranging from 21 to 45. The amount of people inside the club was just right.
A Red Rope Reviews round of applause goes to the door guys, Dillon and Bobby for holding it down and keeping the ratio on point. You weren’t sweating your ass off and bumping into everyone inside.
“This is the place where I like to go without my boyfriend,†said Tess, 25, from San Diego. “The place has to be bigger for that, plus there are a lot of hot guys here. “Why bring him?â€
Anthony Banks said, he likes how they play a variety of music.
“Hey? Who doesn’t like to see hot girls shake their ass to something I know I don’t want to dance to.â€
A Red Rope Reviews toast goes out to Confidential as one of the hottest clubs in San Diego right now.
Until next weekend, keep it crackin’ San Diego.

As you approach this A-list only establishment, it’s name offers to the outside world what it suggests - that this is a wanted spot where not everyone will be granted the pleasure of experiencing. In a new world of super clubs and mega dance halls, Confidential has emerged as the uber-lounge.
Sexy ladies dressed up for a night out on the town versus the usual club rats running amok was a nice change. For the men, it was nice dress shirts, vintage T’s, and the always money sport coats adorned by many. This was one of the best crowds I’ve seen a while, great looking, great atmosphere.
Each drink he made was accompanied with flare fit for a Vegas competition. Bottle tosses, glass dancing, trick pouring, and more could be seen. Perhaps what impressed me the most was the mastery of mixology while still serving the flavors of the evening promptly. I never waited more a minute or two for a drink, and even if you had to, you had a show to keep you entertained. As for the prices, I’ll refer to the name Confidential again. Exclusivity has its price. Expect drinks and cocktails to be in the $10 range.
Lounging on a soft white couch, you can peer down to spot hotties tearing up the floor or enjoying the bottle show in the bar, while the less fortunate gaze in awe back up at you. Service was first rate. Bottles of alcohol come equipped with everything you could need, from mixers such as fresh juice and Red Bull, to bottles of Figi and newly cut garnishes for your drinks.
Confidential has been building a reputation as the place to be on Thursday nights, and after witnessing one the great DJ tag teams, I could hear why. The legendary DJ’s G*Roy and Theron, blew the roof off the place. As the night went on, the volume, pace and energy increased, thanks solely to the men spinning the tunes. House beats shook the foundations, and they had the crowd rockin’ out to mash ups that reminded me of Sunday nights in Light at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
In all, Confidential was everything I had expected. It has a great location, elegant décor, top-level DJ’s and first-rate service. I will definitely return, especially on Thursdays, but I will definitely mind my drinks around the bouncers. Confidential, Red Rope Reviews applause worthy and a solid 10 on the shot scale from me!

Standing outside the big, thick doors of Confidential, I was filled with anticipation as to what awaited me inside. True to its name and the definition, I had no way of knowing what was going on. You couldn’t hear the music and all you could see through the curtains, which cover all the windows, were flashing, colorful lights and silhouettes of people.
Just from what I saw on the outside, I was pretty sure I was going to like this place. Well, looks can be deceiving. As soon as I walked through those doors, I wasn’t impressed. It was one of the smallest clubs I’ve ever been too, even smaller than Tavern in Pacific Beach. And I specifically don’t go there often because on crowded nights, I feel like I’m in a packed like a can of sardines. Maybe some people don’t mind that, but I do. I need at least a foot between the next person and I, which isn’t even a generous amount.
If you’re lucky enough to get upstairs, which I assume is the VIP area since two security guards are constantly standing at the bottom of the stairs, then stay up there. In addition to space, it overlooks all the “common folk†that obviously don’t have the connections or money the others do. At least that’s what I felt like looking up there at everybody lounging on the white leather couches or dancing..
I left at midnight and should of left earlier, but I was waiting for my drink. And you can forget about waiting in line at the bar for a drink. There was only one bar crowded by a herd of people like bees on honey. Your best bet was to order from one of the very friendly cocktail waitresses. On average, it took about ten minutes to have your order delivered, which I guarantee is less than waiting in that line.
On the screen above the shelves and shelves of liquor was video of what resembled what you would see when looking into a kaleidoscope. Unfortunately, the décor isn’t enough to save Confidential.
Confidential seemed like a “scene†for those exclusive types. I honestly couldn’t wait to leave. When I did, I felt relieved. It was stressful just being in there.
It’s safe to say that I will not be going back to Confidential any time soon.
